Tras el éxito de "Magos, Espadas y Rosas", el camino de Rata Blanca no fue todo lo fácil que cabía esperar (sobre todo por la parte de la crítica que los tachaba de copiar a Rainbow) y para "Entre el Cielo y el Infierno" apostaban por endurecer su estilo de guitarras, y se muestran de nuevo como uno de sus puntos fuertes en un disco más heavy que sus predecesores, con el genial Mario Ian a cargo de las voces.
