Oz es una banda de heavy metal tradicional creada en Finlandia, concretamente en la localidad de Nakkila. Sus inicios se remontan al año 1977, en el cual Ero " The oz " Hamalainnen (voz) , Mark Ruffneck ( bateria ), Kari "Spooky wolf " Elo ( guitar ) y Jay C.Blade ( bajo ) , forman la banda bajo el nombre de The Oz.
Oz , podria haber sido considerada, sin ningun tipo de problema , como una banda perteneciente al NWOBHM, ya que el sonido y la forma de hacer heavy metal esta realmente influenciada por este movimiento.Lamentablemente la banda esta separada, su ultimo disco fue en 1991. Bueno saludos y aprecien este magnifico disco de heavy metal.
